Small app. Proper invoices.
A pebble of an app. A mountain off your mind.
A proper tax invoice with your ABN and GST in under a minute, sent as a PDF from your phone — and PDF Pebble keeps track of what you’re owed. It scans, merges, splits, compresses and signs the paperwork around it too. Free, private, nothing uploaded.

Built for the person doing the invoicing
An invoice in under a minute
Your business details, your client, a few line items — tax and totals calculated as you type. The second invoice starts with everything already filled in and the number incremented.
It looks up your client’s ABN
In Australia, type the client’s business name and PDF Pebble searches the Australian Business Register and fills in their ABN, so you are not emailing someone to ask for it.
You can see what you’re owed
Every invoice is tracked as paid, due or overdue, with the outstanding total at the top of the home screen. Mark one paid with a tap.
No subscription and no account
No paid tier, no trial that expires, no per-invoice cap and nothing to sign up for. Your details live on your device, which is also why there is nothing to log in to.
How invoicing works
Set up once
Your business name, number, address and logo, plus the region you bill in — which sets your tax label, rate and currency correctly.
Bill the job
Add your client, then the line items. Look their ABN up by name if you are in Australia. Tax and totals are worked out as you type.
Send and track
Send the PDF straight from your phone, then watch it sit in the ledger as due — until you mark it paid.
And the paper jobs either side of the invoice
The quote you had to sign, the receipts you need to attach, the scan that was too big to email. Nine tools, no second app, all running on your device — and every one ends with a file you can share, save or print.
Merge PDF files
Combine PDFs into one document — pull files in from My Scans or from your phone, put them in the order you want, and get a single file back. A password-protected PDF is rejected with a clear message, never silently dropped.

Create QR codes & barcodes
A QR code generator for links, Wi-Fi details, contact cards, phone numbers, emails and text messages — plus Code 128 and EAN-13 barcodes for labels, tickets and retail products. Every code ends in a file, ready to print or share.
Android + web app
Scan QR codes & barcodes
Point the camera at a code and see exactly what it holds — Wi-Fi details, contact cards and product numbers are read out in full, and a scanned link only opens if you tap it.

Tax invoices
An invoice maker for small jobs: a proper tax invoice with your ABN, GST and line items, in the Australian format by default — the tax label and currency are editable — and your business details are remembered for the next one.
Android + web app
Split PDF files
Pull the pages you need out of a longer document. Every page is shown as a real thumbnail, so you pick page seven by looking at it rather than by counting — and what comes back is one new PDF, not a folder of loose files.
Android + web app
Compress PDF files
Make a scan small enough to email. Pages are rebuilt as images on your device, which is what shrinks them — so any text in the file stops being selectable. If compressing would make a file bigger, which happens with text-only PDFs, PDF Pebble keeps the original and tells you rather than handing back something worse.
Android + web app
Sign PDF documents
Sign a quote, contract or delivery docket with your finger, then tap the spot on the page where the signature belongs. Your signature is remembered on the device, so the next document is a single tap. Nothing is emailed to a signing service.
Android + web app
Organise pages
Reorder, rotate and delete pages in an existing PDF. Rotation is the one that earns its place: a page that scanned in sideways used to mean scanning it again. Nothing is written until you save, so changing your mind costs nothing.
Android + web app
Photos to PDF
Pictures already in your camera roll, turned into a single PDF in the order you choose — for the receipt you photographed last week, or the job someone shot on site before they had the app.

Frequently asked questions
Is PDF Pebble free?
Yes. Every tool — scanning, merging, code creation and invoices — is free, supported by a small banner ad. There’s no limit on how many documents or pages you can scan, and there’s nothing to buy.
Do I need to create an account?
No. PDF Pebble works with no sign-up and no login — open it and start scanning.
Where are my scanned files stored? Is this private?
Scanning and PDF creation happen on your device. PDF Pebble doesn’t upload your documents to a server — the files stay under your control, saved locally or shared straight from your phone.
Can PDF Pebble merge PDF files?
Yes. The Merge tool combines PDF files into a single document: pull them in from My Scans or from your phone, arrange the order, and export one PDF. Pages are joined exactly as they are — nothing is re-encoded or compressed — and a password-protected file is rejected with a clear message rather than silently skipped.
Can I create invoices with PDF Pebble?
Yes. The Invoice tool builds a tax invoice with your ABN, GST and line items — the Australian format by default, with an editable tax label and currency if you bill elsewhere. Your business details are remembered for next time, and the result is a PDF you can share, save or print like any scan. There’s a fuller walkthrough on the free invoice generator page.
Can PDF Pebble split a PDF?
Yes. The Split tool shows every page of a document as a real thumbnail; tap the ones you want and PDF Pebble extracts them into a single new PDF. It extracts a selection rather than bursting a file into one PDF per page, because “send them just page three” is the job people actually have on a phone.
Can PDF Pebble compress a large PDF?
Yes. The Compress tool rebuilds each page as an image on your device, which is what makes a scan small enough to email. Because the pages become images, any text in the file stops being selectable or searchable — for a scan that was already true. If compressing would make a file larger, which happens with text-only PDFs, PDF Pebble keeps the original and says so instead of handing back a worse file.
Can I sign a PDF with PDF Pebble?
Yes. Draw your signature with your finger, then tap the spot on the page where it belongs. The signature is stored on your device so the next document takes a single tap. Nothing is uploaded and no signing service is involved — this is a signature drawn onto the page, not a cryptographic digital signature or a certificate-based e-signature.
Can I reorder or rotate the pages in a PDF?
Yes. The Organise tool lets you reorder, rotate and delete pages in an existing PDF. Rotating is the common one: a page that scanned in sideways can be turned the right way up without scanning it again. Nothing is written until you save.
What platforms does PDF Pebble support?
PDF Pebble is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, on Google Play for Android, and in any browser at app.pdfpebble.com. Invoices, scanning, merging, splitting, compressing, signing, organising pages, photos to PDF and QR code creation work everywhere, and automatic edge detection works on both phones. Reading a QR code or barcode with the camera is Android-only for now.
What’s on the roadmap?
Splitting, compressing, signing and organising PDFs have all shipped, alongside invoices, merging, scanning and QR codes — nine tools in total — and the iPhone and iPad app is now on the App Store. Being looked at next: pulling the total off a photographed receipt so it becomes an invoice line item, and reading QR codes on iOS. This page is updated as things ship.

Scanned a receipt? MyFairMate splits the bill.
MyFairMate divides shared costs between friends and housemates — equally, by percentage, or by the exact days someone was there — and you can attach the PDF receipt straight to the expense.
