A free invoice generator that doesn’t want a subscription.
Build a proper tax invoice with your ABN, GST and line items, send it as a PDF from your phone, and see what you’re owed. No account, no monthly fee, and nothing uploaded to anyone’s server.

Why this one and not the other twenty
No subscription, and no trial that turns into one
Most invoice apps are free until the third invoice. This one is free at the hundredth. There is no paid tier, no per-invoice cap and no card to enter — a small banner ad keeps it running.
No account to create
No email address, no password, no verification link. Open the app and the first field is your business name. Your details are saved on the device, not on a server, which is also why there is nothing to sign in to.
Your details are remembered
Business name, number, address, tax rate, payment terms and your logo are entered once. The second invoice starts with everything filled in and the invoice number already incremented.
So is everything you charge for
Save your services or products once and they are one tap away on every invoice after that — start typing and PDF Pebble suggests them, or open the list and tap. Tapping something twice bills it twice. You don’t have to set it up first either: after you send an invoice, it offers to save the items you just typed.
It tells you what you are owed
Every invoice you send is tracked as paid, due or overdue, and the total outstanding sits at the top of the home screen. Mark one as paid with a tap.
From blank to sent, in about a minute
Your business, once
Name, business number, address and logo. Pick your region and the tax label, rate and currency are set for you — all still editable.
Who you are billing
In Australia, type the client’s business name and PDF Pebble looks their ABN up against the Australian Business Register so you don’t have to ask for it.
The line items
Description, quantity, unit price. Tax and totals are calculated as you type, in whole cents, so the arithmetic on the page is the arithmetic on the invoice.
Send it
Preview the finished invoice, then send it straight from your phone — email, WhatsApp, wherever. It lands as an ordinary PDF.
Australia
You don’t need to ask a client for their ABN.
Type the business name and PDF Pebble searches the Australian Business Register — the government’s own free lookup — and fills the ABN in for you. It works by ABN or ACN too. Only what you type in that field is sent to the ABR; your invoices never leave the device.
Set up for where you bill
Pick a region once and the business-number label, tax label, default rate, currency and document title are all set correctly. Every field stays editable afterwards.

Questions
Is the invoice generator really free?
Yes, and without a catch worth reading twice: there is no paid tier, no trial period, no cap on how many invoices you can send, and no card required. A small banner ad in the app is what pays for it.
Do I need an account to make an invoice?
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no email verification. Your business details are stored on your own device, which is why there is nothing to log in to and nothing to lose access to.
Can I make a proper tax invoice with GST?
Yes. Choose your region and PDF Pebble sets the right business-number label, tax label, default rate, currency and document title — including titling the document “Tax Invoice”, which the ATO in Australia and the FTA in the UAE both require. Every one of those fields stays editable if your situation differs.
Can I save the things I bill for instead of typing them every time?
Yes — that’s the price list. Save a service or a product with its price and unit, group them if you have a lot, and they’re one tap away on every invoice after that: start typing and PDF Pebble suggests matches, or open the list and tap. Tapping the same item again bills it twice rather than adding a duplicate line. There’s nothing to set up first — after you send an invoice, PDF Pebble offers to save the items you just typed, so the list builds itself as you work.
Some of what I sell is tax-free and some isn’t. Can it handle both?
Yes. Each saved item can carry its own tax treatment, so a seller with a mixed range — GST-free basics alongside taxable items, for instance — gets it right per line rather than per invoice. The finished invoice then shows each rate on its own row, and anything tax-free is printed as tax-free rather than being left off, so the person paying can see which items carried no tax.
Does it look up my client’s ABN?
In Australia, yes. Type the client’s business name and PDF Pebble searches the Australian Business Register — the government’s own free lookup service — and fills in the matching ABN. You can also search by ABN or ACN directly. Only the name or number you type is sent to the ABR; your invoices and documents are not.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Add your logo once in the invoice settings and it appears on every invoice as your letterhead.
Can clients pay through the invoice?
Not yet. PDF Pebble produces the invoice document and tracks whether you have been paid, but it does not process payments — you include your own bank details or payment terms, exactly as you would on a paper invoice.
Does it do recurring invoices or sync with accounting software?
No. PDF Pebble is deliberately a one-invoice-at-a-time tool for sole traders and small jobs. If you need recurring billing, payroll or a ledger that syncs with your accountant, a full accounting package is the right tool and this is not pretending to be one.
Where are my invoices stored?
On your device. Invoices are built and saved locally and never uploaded to a server — the same as everything else PDF Pebble makes. That also means they are not backed up to the cloud, so keep copies of anything you need to retain for tax purposes.
