These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PDF Pebble app and the pdfpebble.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Using the Service

PDF Pebble lets you scan physical documents and combine them into PDF files for your own use. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and only to scan documents you have the right to copy.

Accounts

The Service does not require you to create an account. Your scanned documents are stored locally on your device; you're responsible for backing them up if you want a copy elsewhere.

Purchases

PDF Pebble offers an optional, one-time "Pro" purchase that removes ads. This is a single, non-recurring payment — not a subscription — processed through RevenueCat and your Android app store's billing system. Refunds are handled according to that store's standard refund policy; we don't separately process payments or refunds ourselves.

Advertising

The free tier of the Service is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob (in the app) and, where enabled, Google AdSense (on this website). Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of ads being shown under Google's advertising terms, subject to the consent choices described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The PDF Pebble name, logo, and app design are owned by us. You retain all rights to the documents you scan — we don't claim any ownership over your content.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scan quality will meet every use case (for example, documents intended for legal or archival purposes should be verified independently).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Pebble is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data stored on your device.

Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
